Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Ping, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
Ping is an email client that connects to your Gmail account to help you reach inbox zero. We provide tools to read, organize, and reply to email. Ping is not affiliated with Google.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
- You must be 16 or older to use Ping (or have verifiable parental consent if younger)
- One person per account — no shared accounts
- You may not use Ping for spam, illegal activity, or abuse
4. Gmail Access
Ping requests Gmail OAuth access to sync and send your email. You can revoke this access at any time via Google Account Permissions or by deleting your Ping account.
5. Subscription & Payment
- Ping is offered as a paid subscription ($12/month or $99/year)
- New accounts include a 7-day free trial — no payment required upfront
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at hello@pingmail.app
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, pause, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
Ping is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for loss of email data, missed messages, or other damages arising from use of the service. Our maximum liability is the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 24 hours in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you are a consumer in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.
